Jaeger Lecoultre 18K YG Reverso Classique Mechanical ref 250.140.862 circa 1992 Box & Papers

A classic 18K YG Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso ref #250.140.862 with mechanical manual wind movement complete with strap and 18K buckle and original box and papers. This wonderful take on one of the most classical of all watch models, is true to the original size and design Reverso models from the 1930’s. Featuring a 23 x 38mm case, with classic 2 tone silver satin dial with black arabic indexes and blued baton hands signed strap and buckle and crown.

This is an exceptionally clean and little worn model free of nicks, dings, scratches, or personalized engraving. The watch includes the photo’d JLC signed Burgundy crocodile strap with 18K JLC logo buckle, as well as a 2nd used JLC signed ostrich strap, and it’s original, now somewhat “tattered” leatherette box.

The watch was purchased new at Tornueau in 1992 and includes both the JLC and Tourneau warranty certificates.

This size model is more often encountered with a battery powered quartz movement. The current example is highly prized both for it’s size and conditon, and for it’s fine mechanical caliber 846/1 operation.
