NOTE: Gold Leaf Dial. We have never before seen a gold leaf dial on any watch, let alone on this model. Our Google and AI search did not identify another example of this model with such a dial, though we don’t think this is a one off. The 1970s was an era of experimentatoin with a variety of textures and finishes to gold cases as well as to the dials. The current dial has an irregular, organic looking surface that is a hallmark of sheets of gold leaf applied to the metal dial surface. The dial surface retains its fine original appearance with no degradation or damage to the dial surface.
