A fine condition vintage 18K YG Rolex Day Date ref# 18038 circa 1987 with a unqiue tropical dial. Featuring a 36mm 18K yellow gold case with wide heavy lugs, sharp condition case back, fluted 18K YG bezel, sapphire crystal, and with a unique sable (taupe) colored dial with enlarge “lollipop” tritium lume plots. The dial has turned from champagne to this very pleasing tone, while the tritium lume plots have spread into larger and now prominent circular shapes.

Powered by self winding calibre 3055 movement with quick set date. Recently serviced, pressure tested for water resistance, and lightly detailed by one of our veteran watchmakers.
