A mint condition stainless steel manual wind bombe lug case man’s Lucien Piccard dress model circa 1960’s. Powered by a 17 jewel manual wind caliber LP22 movement with sweep seconds, and fitted with your choice of sporty or dressy fine leather strap. In excellent mechanical operating condition and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
We are fans of Lucien Picard models that emulate some of the high brow French and Swiss designers of the era. Unlike prestigious houses like Van Clef & Arpels, Lucien Picard produced models with the look and feel of the far more expensive gem set models, but with synthetic or faux stones, and at affordable prices. Such models are popular for their kitsch 1960’s aesthetic and we have featured many of them over the years.
This is the first we have ever seen of the popular and classic bombe lug case design, used by Universal Geneve, Rolex, and IWC. This current model must have remained in a jeweler’s stock and never sold, as it is in pristine, unpolished, and perhaps unworn condition. With great looking graphic details as shown in our photo catalog.
Your purchase includes our signature fine leather watch pouch, ideal for travel and storage, a $65.00 value.
