An exceptional and striking example sector dial Vacheron & Constantin man’s open face pocket watch circa 1932-1934. Featuring a 44mm diameter heavy snap back industrial design case with brushed and polished edges. With stunning original 2 tone matte silver sector dial with large art deco style 12/3/9 indexes, oversized baton indexes, outer railroad minute track, oversized detailed to the seconds subseconds bit, and original art deco style Ioversized blued steel hands, and low profile mineral glass crystal. The watch case is free of any personalized engraving and  is completed by its original pyramid shaped bow and original unsigned crown.

Powered by unspecified Vacheron caliber high grade stem wind and stem set movement. The movement is notably also signed by the esteemed retailer of this watch, Stéfanovich of Serbia. Stéfanovich was well known for carrying what are today some of the most collectible of vintage Longines chronographs, Vacheron pocket and wristwatches as well as other fine Swiss brands.

Accompanied by what we presume is the original high quality hand made stainless steel chain, with individually soldered links and with distinctive flat design spring rings which mimic the industrial design of the watch case.

While we are well aware that pocket watches are currently not as sought after as wristwatches, and therefore draw less collector interest, and lower prices than lesser wristwatches of the same company, we celebrate the magnificent design and condition of this particular piece.
