Universal Geneve SS Compax “Nina Rindt” Chronograph circa 1960’s Box & Papers


Exceptional stainless steel Universal Geneve Compax ref# 885103/02, a chronograph commonly referred to as the Nina Rindt. Featuring a 36mm stainless steel case, this Compax was made famous by gracing the wrist of model, and partner in crime of Formula One star Jochen Rindt, Nina Rindt. With sharp, twisted lugs, round and substantial pump chronograph pushers, and screw down case back. The watch features an absolutely stunning panda dial, with white main dial and black chronograph subdials, hour markers, broad hands, and correct crystal bearing the UG logo. Framing the dial is a perfect condition black, dot over 90 bezel.

The watch is worn on its fantastic UG signed Gay Fréres stainless steel bracelet, and powered by the famous Valjoux 72 caliber 3 register manual wind movement. In excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, and is offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. Includes UG box, original serial#’d hang tag, and original UG warrantee booklet documenting the original sale by a Japanese retailer.
