Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner ref# 7016/0 circa 1974

SOLD

Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner ref# 7016/0 serial# 827,xxx circa  1974.  Very nice condition example with great black original dial with square luminous indexes and original “snowflake” hands. Very clean dial and hands, with all original unrestored tritium lume. Great looking faded gray elapsed time bezel insert. Powered by self winding 25 jewel calibre 2483 ETA calibre movement with sweep seconds. Fitted with period 7836 folded link Rolex Oyster bracelet with 382 end pieces.

Just fully serviced by one of our veteran Rolex trained watchmakers. Case shows previously polished. Guaranteed genuine and as described and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation. A very desirable model that has seen great recent price appreciation.

NOTE: It is common on this model that the lume of the hands does not perfectly match the lume of the dial. The small difference can be seen in these photos. The pearl in the bezel insert has been either replaced, or relumed, as it glows with luminova. The dial and hands otherwise are completely original, without damage, chipping, scratches, or retouching.

Vintage Tudor - Pre-Owned & Used Tudor Watches

All of our vintage Tudor and pre-owned Tudor watches are fully restored and guaranteed genuine to give you excellent service and piece of mind. Montres Tudor (SA) has designed, manufactured and marketed Tudor watches since 6 March 1946. Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf conceived of the Tudor Watch Company to create a product for authorized Rolex dealers to sell that offered the reliability and dependability of a Rolex, but at a lower price. The number of Rolex watches was limited by the rate that they could produce in-house Rolex movements, thus Tudor watches were originally equipped with off-the-shelf movements while using similar quality cases and bracelets.
