Rolex Submariner ref 14060 Neo Vintage Tritium Lume w/ Papers circa 1991

Classic Rolex Submariner stainless steel ref# 14060 E7 serial# circa 1991 complete with original warranty and serial numbered hang tag.  Featuring a 40mm diameter case with sapphire crystal and unidirectional elapsed time bezel. A very pleasing Neovintage  example with glossy black original dial with lightly aged tritium luminous indexes and hands as well as the elapsed bezel “pearl.” Previously polished, but with still beavy lugs.

Powered by self winding calibre 3000 movement with sweep seconds, and fitted with original Rolex heavy Oyster bracelet with flip lock clasp. This model is often favored over the date model due to its cleaner profile without the distracting date magnifying cyclops crystal.

This pre 1998 model features tritium as the luminous material for the dial markers and hands, and is in the range of what has been referred to as “neo vintage,” 1980’s and 1990’s models that predate the introduction of luminova in 1998. Some of these tritium dial models are subject to developing a light or sometimes darker patina, which give the watch a more vintage feel than the bright greenish blue glow of luminova.
