A great looking early vintage Rolex SS/YG Bubbleback ref 3132 circa 1938 with great looking sub seconds dial and early Rolex bracelet. Featuring a 32mm diameter Oyster case with screw down case back and screw down period style crown. With beautifully restored antique white “sector” dial with luminous indexes and matching “Mercedes” hands and mirrored minutes track. Powered by calibre N/A self winding movement with subsidiary seconds. The case and case back are in especially good condition, previously polished, but not corroded or with damaged case back threads. Shown on period Rolex stainless steel and yellow gold stretch link Oyster bracelet.
Note: the earlier bubblebacks featured movements with subsidiary seconds, later movements had sweep seconds. The subseconds configuration and beautiful sector dial of the current example make for a beautiful vintage example.
