A very cool and distinctive looking tropical dial Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref #1500 circa 1961. Featuring a 34mm diameter case with smooth bezel and acrylic crystal. This is an early model with elongated dagger shaped indexes, tapered hands and with early SWISS signature. The band surrounding the markers has turned a subtle but distinctive brownish color, resembling a shadow around each of the markers. We have fitted the watch with a non cyclops crystal to further enhance the unique characteristics of the dial.
This distinctive watch is completed with a riveted link C & I Rolex USA Oyster bracelet with deployant clasp. Powered by caliber 1560 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date. Recently fully serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. A great looking vintage man’s model or oversized for a woman.
