An especially scarce and low production model 36mm ref# 1012 18K YG vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual dress model circa 1961. Featuring an atypical 36mm diameter Oyster case with smooth bezel, with original mottled surface tropical champagne dial with distinctive gold applied indexes, applied Rolex crown logo and gold tapered hands and signed SWISS. The dial has developed a pleasing vintage character and retains the original aged and unrestored lume plots that have darkened with age.
Powered by self winding caliber 1560 movement with sweep seconds. The movement has been recently serviced and lightly detailed by one of our veteran watchmakers and is in excellent operating condition. Shown on a colorful 20mm red exotic skin strap, or your choice of a more subdued color exotic skin or leather skin strap to complement the vintage vibe of this scarce early piece.
