An extremely fine example vintage transitional model Rolex GMT ref 16750 circa 1981 with original matte black dial with luminous tritium indexes and hands, acrylic crystal, and popular red and blue so called “Pepsi” bezel. Featuring a beefy lug case, warmly patina’d tritium lume dial and closely matching original tritium lume hands.
The 16750 model features a 3075 quick set date movement instead of the earlier non quick set date 1500 series movement but predates the introduction of the sapphire crystal so called “GMT 1” model. The earliest of these “transitional” models continued the use of the vintage style matte black dial, while later models were fitted with the more modern gloss dial with metal luminous surrounds.
This fine example is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, and comes with it’s original Rolex heavy Oyster ref 78360 bracelet with corresponding F clasp code.
Recently fully serviced, guaranteed genuine of course, and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
Your watch purchase includes one of our fine glazed leather watch pouches, $65.00 if purchased separately, great for storage and travel.
