A very pleasing example vintage Rolex GMT II “Pepsi” ref 16710 stainless steel dual time zone model. Featuring a 40mm diameter case with red and blue so called “Pepsi” bezel, sapphire crystal, and original glossy black dial with tritium indexes and hands. Powered by caliber 3185 movement with independently set 24 hour hand with independently set hour hand. With Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelet 78790 with 501B end links and deployment clasp.

NOTE: It is unusual for a 1999 case serial # GMT 2 to have a tritium lume (SWISS -T<25) dial and hands. By 1998 Rolex introduced luminova as the luminous material to illuminate the dial indexes and hands in the dark. The current dial and hands are NOT service a dial using T<25 signed dials, but with luminova lume. The lume on this dial and hand set does not glow. An unusual, but we believe entirely correct and original juxtaposition of tritium lume dial and hands in a case, dated one year after the introduction of luminova.
