Tritinova? An unusual feature of this model is the so called term Tritinova. This model is a late production 1997 model marking the end of the use of tritium as the luminous material for the dial and hands and the begining of the use of Luminova. The earliest of the Luminova dials used the tritium signed dials, designated T<25 at the bottom, but luminova was applied to these dials, evidenced by the brighter and sustained glow of the lume under ultraviolet light. We have had just a handful of such “Tritinova” models before. An interesting and little known variation!
