An extremely fine condition vintage Rolex Day Date ref 1803, 18K yellow gold circa 1973 with lovely and scarce original taupe dial. Featuring an exceptional condition 36mm diameter case with sharp 18K yellow gold fluted bezel, acrylic crystal, and great condition original pie pan T SWISS T dial with applied gold indexes and gilt baton original tritium lume hands.
Powered by caliber 1556 self winding chronometer rated movement with sweep seconds, day of the week, and date. Recently fully serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Offered on your choice of sporty or fine leather or exotic skin strap. A popular vintage gold model in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with great character and appeal.
While most Day Date dials are a soft or glossy gold color, we also encounter varying tones of champagne, some more yellow and “lemony,” some with gray tones, and here we have a subtle but distinctive taupe color that is a real style stand out!
