An early and fine condition example 18K white gold Rolex Day Date President ref# 1803 circa 1963 with English day wheel. Featuring a 36mm diameter 18K WG case with fluted bezel and acrylic crystal. With original early style silver satin pie pan dial with applied silver door stop style indexes and matching tapered baton hands. The lume plots remain intact and have patina’d to a pleasing tan color on the dial and the hands. The dial is in very good condition with some light signs of aging expected of a watch nearly 65 years old.

This Day Date is powered by self winding caliber 1556 self winding movement with sweep seconds and day and date. This era movement does not have a quick set date function. The date is set by advancing the time clockwise, while the day is set by moving the hands counter clockwise until reaching the desired day of the week.
