A great looking Rolex 2 tone Datejust ref 1601 serial #4.2 million circa 1976 with gently “freckled” tropical blue “Buckley” dial. Featuring a 36mm diameter full size man’s Oyster case with 14K YG bezel, acrylic crystal, and original blue blue pie pan dial that has aged to a “stone washed denim” color with patina’d tritium lume plots and correct matching hand set. The Buckley bold Roman printed dials are always popular, and this one is a great one for fans of aged tropical dials.
Complete with original SS/14K YG oval link Hecho en Mexico signed Rolex Jubilee bracelet in excellent 80-85% condition. Powered by self winding caliber 1570 movement with non quick set date and sweep seconds. An especially sharp condition example.
