Rolex Submariner ref 16610LV “Anniversary Submariner” built in honor of the 50 year production of the Rolex Submariner, and affectionately nicknamed Kermit for it’s use of a fully green bezel insert. The Kermit was introduced in 2003, and continued until 2010 when the new all green “Hulk” was unveiled. This 16610LV  has a Mk 1 dial and an F serial, dating it to 2003, the very first year of production. As such it carries some specific, sought after characteristics. The largest one being the famous Flat 4 bezel insert. If you look inside the 4 on the bezel, you’ll see at the top it comes to a flat edge, instead of the later versions where it comes to a sharp point. The enclosed portion of  the 4 is actually a trapezoid, rather than a triangle. Additionally, another distinguishing characteristic of the Mk 1 dial is the shape of the  “O” in the word ROLEX which is a distinct oval, rather than round shape. The third distinguishing characteristic is the five minute ticks seen directly underneath the “SWISS MADE” at the bottom of the dial, with later versions having only three.)

Very mint condition example showing very little wear, besides some slight abrasions at the top of the bezel insert, and a totally unpolished case. With maxi luminova plots, self winding calibre 3135 movement with sweep seconds and date, and with solid end link (SEL) heavy Oyster bracelet with deployant clasp.
