Patek Philippe 18K WG ref 3844G circa 1980s. Featuring an oversize 33 x 33mm cushion shaped case with matte silver Sigma dial and applied silver baton indexes and stylized silver baton hands. With integral open work chain mail bracelet with folding Patek logo clasp. Powered by Patek caliber 215 manual wind movement without subsidiary seconds.
The watch measures 7″ overall and the total weight is 81.8 grams.
In fine cosmetic and mechanical condition and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
NOTE: Watches of the 1980s and 1990s era of this general design, (i.e. thin gold cases with integral gold bracelets) were out of vogue for a number of years in favor of the more vintage aesthetic of the 1920’s through the 1950s and 60s decorative designs. We are now witnessing a world wide renewed appreciation of these elegant, handsome, tailored, and refined, men’s dress models. The current example is such a fine and attractive example.
