An exceptionally clean condition and attractive Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, ref 145.022-76 serial# 39.92 million circa 1979. Featuring a very nice condition previously polished 42mm stainless steel case with black 500 mph tachometer bezel and Omega logo acrylic crystal. With very beautiful condition original matte black dial with cream colored tritium luminous indexes and matching original lume hands. Free of spotting, scratches, loss or discoloration of dial, indexes, or hands. Case back features deeply engraved Sea Monster logo and “Flight Qualified by NASA for All Manned Space, The First Watch Worn on the Moon.”

Complete with original oval link Omega ref 1171 bracelet with 633 end pieces to fit 7.5 inch wrist. The 39.92 million serial # dates this model to 1979, the last year of production of this particular 4 year sub-reference. Not all vintage Speedies are as well preserved as the current example. They suffer from scratches and dings to the bezel, damage to the surface of the dial, and loss of lume or replacement and mismatched color of the hands. The current example has been well cared for in it’s lifetime and does not suffer from any of these characteristics.
