A very fine and desirable vintage Omega Constellation ref# 14393 circa 1959 nicely patina’d original tropical pie pan dial, with rice link bracelet with special ratcheting clasp, and complete with well preserved original box and warranty certificate.

This is a an all original Omega constellation pie pan model with date, powered with 360 degree self winding caliber 561 movement with sweep seconds. Featuring a previously polished case, warmly patina’d pie pan dial with subtle rainbow hues, and with applied silver baton indexes, tapered dauphine hands, and with applied OMEGA name, logo and a single 5 pointed star. The dial is signed Automatic Chronometer Costellation, features the popular cross hairs pattern and is signed SWISS MADE for it’s use of radium in this era. With original signed 10 sided crown and with Omega logo crystal. The screw down case back features the gold Observatory with stars clearly visible in the sky.

This fine watch features a scarce version rice link bracelet with a ratcheting clasp with a large and prominent Omega logo ratcheting and locking clasp. (see photo). The clasp is signed JB for Jacoby & Bender, USA, while the watch was original sold in England, so this bracelet likely was added later.

This beautiful watch is completed with an exceptionally well preserved and fine condition original box as well as the original warranty certificate from the London retailer Shackman, The warranty booklet as well as the warranty certificate each prominently bear the serial # of the movement. Not only is it a treasure to have the original box and warranty for a wage of this age, but to find a set in such exceptionally well preserved condition is truly remarkable.

This watch comes to us from a collector. The watch is in running condition and keeping good time, but as we have not serviced the watch, it is being offered without our usual 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
