An unusal and especially appealing design vintage Longines gold filled cushion shaped case dress model circa 1968. Featuring a medium sized 29.5 mm cushion shaped case with rounded corners and fine florentine finish, set off against a wide smooth bezel, and with a lovely matte silver dial with applied gold indexes and simple gold baton hands.

This lovely dress model is from a collection of refined series of dress models named  Cosmo, which we presume is short hand for Cosmopolitan. All the models we have seen have been refined, sophisticated designs, but typically the cases are round. This is the first we have seen in a classy looking cut corner cushion case.

Powered by Longines 17 jewel caliber 428 manual wind movement with no subseconds. With original Longines winged hourglass logo. Recently serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.

We have fitted this watch with a period stretch bracelet with a similar florentine finish to the case to complete the period 60’s era aesthetic. A very attractive, excellent condition, and stylish vintage dress model for a man, or sporty size for a woman’s wrist.
