Longines Oversize Stainless Steel Calatrava circa 1943

Vintage man’s Longines stainless steel oversize manual wind dress model circa 1943 with original salmon dial. Featuring a large 37 x 46mm heavy snap back Calatrava style case with extended lugs, acrylic crystal, and very pleasing original salmon dial with black printed figures and oversized blued steel hands. Powered by Longines 15 jewel manual wind calibre 2387 movement with subsidiary seconds. (No caliber # appears under the bridge.)  The movement number of 6.6 million dates production of this watch to 1943. The inner case back is stamped 22546/325 with additional production stamps of 37 and 5 appearing separately on inner case back. An impressive and great looking oversize vintage model with a simple, but robust design not unlike the oversize Patek Calatrava model of the era.

This classic vintage model is in running condition, but has not yet been serviced. Service will be done at no charge per request of purchaser.
