VINTAGE WATCHES, PRE-OWNED & USED SWISS, AMERICAN WATCHES & JEWELRY

Longines Oversize Stainless Steel Calatrava circa 1940’s

$2,150.00

Vintage man’s Longines stainless steel oversize manual wind dress model circa 1940’s. With original aged salmon dial, and blued steel leaf style hands. Featuring a 35 x 41mm heavy snap back Calatrava style case with extended lugs and acrylic crystal. The dial has black printed Arabic numerals with matching outer minute track. Both those and the Longines logo have faded with age. This vintage model is powered by the Longines manual wind calibre 12.687 movement with subsidiary seconds. The movement number of 6.0 million dates production of this watch to the very early 1940’s. An impressive and great looking vintage model with a simple, but robust design not unlike the oversize Patek Calatrava model of the era.

The watch has been recently serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and is offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. Your purchase includes our popular leather pouch, ideal for travel and storage.
