Featuring a great condition original matte silver dial with unusual and distinctive applied faceted indexes and numbers, and stylized syringe style hands. Dial further features interested zig zig design minute track and applied Longines “hour glass” logo. Powered by self winding Longines movement with subsidiary seconds.

Medium sized man’s 32.5 x 39 mm case is ideal for a smaller size wrist or oversized for a woman. Featuring a modernist “hipster” design with very clean case and caseback free of any personalized engraving and with dome style crown for setting and manual winding. DESIGN NOTE: We have an eye for the subtle details that make an otherwise unremarkable watch something quite special. We usually don’t know the graphic designers or industrial designers who worked for or were on contract to the various watch companies, but if you study the elements of the dial, markers, hands, minute track of a watch such as this, you have to admire the thoughtfulness and intentionality that went into designing a watch such as the current example. And these design elements were not carried through the entire line of Longines dress models of the era. We may see 20 or 30 or 50 examples, that we pass by, until we see one with eye appeal and superb condition that grabs our interest and attention. These are the ones we celebrate, and we hereby honor these often unheralded designers.
