Longines 14K WG Mustache Lugs Diamond Set circa 1950’s

A remarkable condition example 14K white gold man’s Longines manual wind dress model with large “handlebar mustache” lugs circa 1950’s. Featuring a mint condition, barely worn, unpolished, original factory finish 30 x 39mm case. With original silver satin diamond set dial set in a row to simulate baguette diamonds and powered by a Longines manual wind caliber 700 movement with subsidiary seconds, with tapered dauphine hands. Fully serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. With your choice of fine or colorful leather or exotic skin strap.

This is certainly one of the most distinctive of the dress models offered by Longines during the 1950’s and early 1960’s. We see many examples of Swiss models produced in white gold during this era, many set with diamonds. Think of the Lecoultre Mystery dials or classic AP or Vacheron minimalist design dress watches. Clearly, these were intended to be dressy, “tuxedo” watches, to be worn on formal or dress up occasions. In our current world of more casual fashion, a model like this is suitable with any wardrobe, and is particularly suited to complement a woman’s wardrobe.

The pronounced mustache lugs lend a truly impressive stature to the watch make it a candidate for a man or woman’s wrist. A great looking model in extraordinary condition.
