Jaeger Lecoultre Bumper Automatic ref. E326 circa 1955

An incredibly beautiful and unique LeCoultre stainless steel ref. E326, circa 1955. Featuring a very sleek but sporty 33.5mm case, with long curving lugs and screw down waterproof caseback. We have seen this reference before, but never one quite like this.

The dial has warmed with age, so the original silver has an incredibly even and slight touch of brass, that can either shine bright or almost be lost completely with differing light. The inner dial shows off a black minute track, and stunningly patina’d tritium five minute dots that match perfectly with the aged sword style hands, of which the minute hand is missing a touch of tritium near the point. The outer portion of the dial shows off bold wedge shaped stainless steel hour markers, markers that ironically draw your eyes to the center of the dial, creating a beautiful symmetry.

The watch is powered by the the bumper automatic Jaeger LeCoultre 812 caliber, a 17 jewel self winding movement with sub seconds and no date. Recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Also accompanying your purchase is one of our beautiful handmade Italian leather watch travel pouches, a $55 value!
