A Jeager Lecoultre 18K YG triple calendar with moonphase limted edition model circa 1980s. A scarce and classic limited edition of 600 pieces produced in the 1980s when vintage watches were experiencing a tremendous grown in popularity, and many of the famed Swiss watch companies began producing contremporary homages to their own brand.
The vintage recangular cased Lecoultre moonphase was one of the most popular and sought after vintage models in the 1970s and 1980’s. This “re-edition” model was introduced to capture the popularity of the vintage version and to honor JLC’s 150th anniversary.
Produced in a limited and number edition of 600 pieces, the current example is #367. Featuring an 18K YG rectangular case mesuring 23.5 x 41mm and featuring a gloss white dial with applied gold figures and sticks, gilt baton hands and with windows for day and date, a red arrow tipped calendar hand, and and ovesize 2nds bit with constant seconds and a blue moonphase disk .
Powered by in house new old stock JLC caliber 486 17 jewel manual wind movement and signed on case back “Serie Unique 150” referring to the 150th anniversary
The watch has been ack from full service and light detail. In excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Available for inspection and purchase in our shop now.
