Hamilton Coronado Art Deco 14K YG circa 1929

Hamilton Coronado 14K YG circa 1929. A classic art deco model from America’s foremost manufacturers of wrist watches. The Hamilton Coronado is the iconic art deco inspired model from the 1929 collection of enameled bezel models, which included the more familiar Piping Rock, the rare, but very small Spur, and the larger, and more robust hinged lug Coronado model which was produced in both white gold and yellow gold as is the current example.

An extremely nice condition example, with 29 x 41mm hinged lug case, with restored antique white dial, excellent condition case and hinges, and exceptional condition black enamel chapter ring with highly stylized art deco figures. Powered by 17 jewel manual wind movement with subsidiary seconds. With blued steel tapered hands and large winding crown. NOTE: Most examples of this model are found with worn or damaged hinges, chips on the enamel, or dented or personalized casebooks. The current example is exceptional in all of these respects. Fully serviced and detailed and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation. With your choice of fine leather or exotic skin strap.
