Swiss square case travel clock circa 1920’s with fancy stylized bow, white enamel dial with black enamel figures and blued steel moon style hands, 15 jewel manual wind movement with subsidiary seconds, and with deeply embossed scene of vintage steam driven automobile with 2 couples enjoying an afternoon diver in the country. Interesting, and great looking period piece. Silver plated case back hinges open so the watch can double as a night stand clock. The early steam powered automotive scene makes this an interesting object and collectible for fans of early automobiles, and would make a great gift for a retired talk show host who enjoys a considerable collection of such vehicles.
