ChronoSwiss 18K YG gold skeletonized automatic chronograph “Opus” model circa 1990s in mint, possibly unworn condition complete with warranty papers. This is model ref CH 7522SR which features a 38mm diameter 14.5mm thick case with prominent milled bezel, sapphire crystal and finely detailed gilded dial with windows for hours, minutes, and seconds as well as 31 day calendar display.
Each chronograph and calendar register and the outer seconds track are finished in a subtly textured champagne finish. Powered by self winding caliber 741S movement with oversize onion style crown and reeded pushers. The beautifully executed movement with automatic rotor is on display through the sapphire crystal display back.
A fine condition, possibly unworn example with signed strap and 18K Chronoswiss logo tang buckle.
The Opus chronograph has a substantial and impressive presence on the wrist. Most skeletonized models are thinner dress models, but this much sportier design showcases the movement and the chronograph operations in a more robust way to delight the wearer and admirers alike!
