A lovely medium size 18K YG manual wind dress model circa 1970s. Featuring a 28 x 31mm case with extended lugs and lovely fine mosaic texture (possibly sold gold?) dial with bold printed Roman figures and black tapered sword hands.
Powered by ultra thin manual wind caliber Y9906 movement and fitted with a dressy unpadded genuine crocodile strap. Recently serviced and lightly detailed and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
Bueche Girod? Not a household name, and a bit of conundrum as they are also associated with Cartier and Universal Geneve for whom they also provided cases and movements. Their watches were always dressy, elegant, and of the highest quality and reportedly popular among the “Hollywood Crowd” of the era. We have never seen the current model before, and wonder if the beautifully executed dial is solid gold?!?
