Breitling Chronomat ref# 0818 circa 1970’s

A rare and excellent condition example Breitling stainless steel massive 48mm diameter Chronomat ref# 0818 circa 1970’s. Featuring a very clean original silvery white dial with matching recessed silver registers, luminous raised silver indexes with black and orange markers. Original stylized fluorescent orange hands, and black anodized bezel. Powered by the Venus 178 manual wind chronograph movement. Offered on your choice of sporty leather or rubber strap. A large but very wearable model. Offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. This model was produced in both automatic versions with the crown at 9 o’clock, and the current manual wind version with the setting and winding at the traditional 3 o’clock location. In our experience, the manual wind is the much scarcer and more desirable version, and the white dial is much rarer than the black.

In excellent operating condition and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation. Offered on a tropic style rubber sport strap or your choice of available 22mm strap.
