Vintage man’s Longines stainless steel manual wind dress model case ref 21608 circa 1941. With original salmon dial, and blued steel baton hands. Featuring a 31 x 37mm heavy “Tres Tacches” Calatrava style screw back case with 3 prominent notches, and with extended lugs and acrylic crystal. The dial has black printed Arabic numerals and outer minute track. This vintage model is powered by the Longines manual wind calibre 23M movement with subsidiary seconds. The movement serial number of 6.2 million dates production of this watch to 1941. As is the custom with Longines, the caseback, and back of one lug bear the watch production #, in this case, #55. An impressive and great looking vintage model with a simple, but robust design.
