Rolex Datejust SS scarce reference # 1600 with smooth bezel and stunning gray original dial circa 1969. A truly stunning vintage example model featuring a great looking, anthracite gray original pie pan dial with applied silver indexes and hands, and with lovely contrasting tan patina’d  luminous dots and hands.

This is the full size man’s 36mm diameter Oyster case, with screw down case back and screw down crown and original smooth bezel. Powered by self winding chronometer rated caliber 1570 with sweep seconds and date. Shown on a high quality J.P. Menicucci matte crocodile strap which beautifully compliments the gray dial and patina’d tan lumes. Recently serviced and lightly detailed and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.

NOTE: This model is particularly desirable in 2 respects; 1st the smooth bezel, characteristic of the 1600 case reference, and secondly, the scarcity and desirability of the especially beautiful original gray pie pan dial. A great watch with rich and distinctive character!
