Featuring screw back case, screw down bezel, with stem wind and lever set BW Raymond 21 jewel manual wind movement. With beautiful condition double sunk white enamel dial, with bold arabic numeral s and oversized blued steel hands. Powered by Elgin grade 478 BW Raymond 21 jewel movement. Serviced and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation.
NOTE: lever set pocket watches use a lever located under the screw off bezel to release the mechanism that locks the time setting feature. This is a protective device required of all railroad grade watches so that the time cannot accidentally be changed by the crown dislodging. This safety feature was required when strict standards of quality and accuracy were instituted after the disastrous collision of 2 trains outside of Chicago in 1893.
