A fabulous looking Elgin “Shockmaster” YGF circa 1950’s. Very distinctive design, large for the era 32 x 40mm round case with pronounced horn lugs and wide grooved design bezel sloping down to meet those fantastic lugs. With original matte champagne dial with a fantastic vinyl “LP” record engraved texture with modernist applied indexes. With tapered gilts hands and subsidiary seconds hand. Powered by 21 jewel manual wind movement. With your choice of fine or sporty leather strap. Recently serviced and detailed and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
We affectionately refer to this model as the “LP” Elgin, a tribute to the 33RPM or 78RPM record albums of the pre digital era, with distinctive grooves for the record stylus.
