Vintage Elgin 14K WG “Presentation” model circa 1929. Featuring an art deco inspired 26 x 40mm rectangular case with hinged lugs and distinctive blue enamel hexagonal shaped Roman numeral chapter ring. With a nicely restored 2 tone satin minimalist dial with perimeter minute track and with distinctive blued steel hands. Powered by Elgin 15 jewel manual wind movement.
This is a classic vintage model produced by Elgin in 2 variations; with square dial opening and enamel chapter ring, as well as the more popular Hexagonal version offered here. Additionally, the model was produced in yellow gold, green gold, and white gold as shown here. Note the very distinctive original concave nipple shaped crown, another unique characteristic of this model. The hinged lugs are in excellent condition, and the case back is free of any personalized engraving.Recently fully serviced, and with case hand polished only.
