Vintage man’s Gruen “Pan American” Ver-Thin in stainless steel circa 1940s. Medium size vintage model measuring 32 x 40mm with screw down water resistant style case back. Powered by 17 jewel manual wind caliber 420 movement with red sweep seconds. Two toned silver satin dial with applied gold outer hours up to 12, and printed black inner hours up to 24, also with a black outer minute track and gold hands. This is the most mint example we have ever come across. The dial is absolutely pristine, the two toned silver plays against the gold numerals and hands exceptionally well. Although while the dial is virtually perfect, the real star here is the razor sharp case. With hard, crisp edges, its easy to tell that this watch has never been polished, and remains in just about factory condition.
