A magnificent Gilbert Albert design vintage 18K YG Omega De Ville with unique integrated bracelet. Featuring a large horizontally configured rectangular 18K yellow gold case with emerald cut corners, faceted crystal, and minimalist dark brown metallic dial with gilt Omega logo, De Ville signature, and simple gilt quarter-hour markers and wide modernist hands.

The watch is fitted with its distinctive wide 18K yellow gold Gilbert Albert bracelet, constructed with an open, irregular sculptural link design and concealed clasp. The clasp is stamped 750 for 18K gold.

A striking and unusual organic configuration, with the bracelet forming an integral part of the overall design. The watch is in excellent condition measuring approxmiately 6  3/4′ and is a real show stopper!

Who is Gilbert Albert?

Gilbert Albert was a noted Swiss jeweler and designer who created avant- garde modernist and organic inspired watch designs for Omega in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. His designs are distinctive, striking, and readily identifiable as his unique work. Gilbert may be most well known as the designer of the distinctive “Ricochet” series of wrist and pocket watches for Patek Philippe. This is the first Omega from his collection that we have ever had the pleasure to offer, and it is a distinctive and  beautiful piece.
