This is an amazing early example Datejust model. The case, bezel, and bracelet are all in fine condition, and the characteristics of this model all reflect the DNA of the earliest date models, the pre 1601 reference #, the finely milled 14K WG bezel, the red and black roulette date wheel, the tapered dagger style dial indexes, tapered hands, and the use of the caliber 1065, and the more finely engraved narrower fluted bezel.
The tropical dial has turned a deep caramel color with some fine mottling. The lume plots are intact and original with aged radium lume and darker original lume to the dial.
