A classic mid century design Rolex Cellini 18K YG ref# 3999 with original Rolex papers sold by Mappin & Webb, London in 1978. Featuring a 23mm X 36mm trim rectangular case with original champagne dial, black printed Roman figures, and black simple baton hands. The dial features and applied gold Rolex logo crown and reads Rolex Geneve Cellini SWISS. With low profile mineral glass crystal for a tailored look.
Powered by 17 jewel manual wind caliber 1600 manual wind movement with no subseconds, with original Rolex logo crown, and fitted with a fine unpadded genuine crocodile strap for a dressy presentation.
The watch is a sharp condition example and has been lightly polished. It is free of any nicks, dings, or scratches. Included is the original Rolex warranty showing a purchase date of 1978 at famed Mappin & Webb jewelers of London.
