Cartier man’s “jumbo” Panther model stainless steel, circa 1980’s. Featuring a square 30mm case with domed stepped bezel secured by screws, antique white dial with classic Cartier Roman figures and blued steel hands. Powered by quartz movement with sweep seconds hand and date window at 3. With Cartier blue sapphire cabochon crown. With heavy rice link stainless steel “Panther” bracelet with butterfly deployment clasp.
Also referred to as the XL model, this size was introduced after the original lady and man’s model Panther’s, this larger case size was intended to be a better fit for a man than the smallish men’s size. Also a sporty large size sporty size for a woman.
NOTE: This watch is just back 4/2026 from a full service with Cartier. The watch was fully serviced, detailed, soiled dial replaced, new battery and crystal. Includes paperwork from Cartier documenting the work along with Cartier’s 2 year warranty.
