A scarce and great looking vintage Vacheron and Constantin 18K yellow gold dress model circa 1950. Featuring a 34 x 42.5mm case with substantial lobed lugs and lovely restored guilloche dial with applied gold indexes and gold baton hands. This model features an unusual case design with a wide domed bezel with sloped inner wall that creates a separation between the inside edge of the bezel and the dome crystal. Typically a crystal is seated in a groove in the bezel. This unusual treatment makes the bezel a more prominent feature in the design of the case.

This lovely dress model is powered by a 17 jewel manual wind Piaget caliber P458/3B movement with oversized sub seconds bit. It has been recently serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and the case lightly polished. It is offered on your choice of 18mm fine leather or exotic skin strap.
