A unique example vintage Rolex 18K yellow gold Day Date President circa 1976 with a richly aged “tropical” dial. Featuring a 36mm diameter full size man’s case with acrylic crystal, 18K YG fluted bezel, and original champagne pie pan dial that has aged and patina’d with rich harvest gold tones. The lume plots on the dial are all intact, and have aged evenly, and closely match the original tritium lume hands. A unique and lovely dial for fans of tropical dials. This lovely watch comes with a period open clasp Presidential bracelet with 53 enpieces
This model is powered by the self winding calibre 1556 movement with non quick set date. The watch was recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and is in excellent operating condition. Guaranteed genuine of course, and is being offered with our usual 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
