A distinctive military influenced design vintage Longines calatrava model circa 1946. Featuring a medium sized 33mm diameter stainless steel case with screw down case back and with stylish lugs that flared outward giving this example more style than the more typical straight lug models. With pleasing original patina’d 2 tone matte silver “sector” style dial with oversized subseconds bit, and with warmly patina’d radium lume indexes and pencil style hands.
This attractive model is powered by the Longines calibre 10.68Z manual wind movement with subsidiary seconds. The movement number of 7.3 million dates production of this watch to post WWII 1946.
