Rolex midsize Oyster Perpetual ref 6551, serial #2.4 million, circa 1970. This is the 31mm diameter stainless steel midsize model, formerly considered a man’s model for a smaller wrist, but now considered an oversized sporty style for a woman’s wrist.
Featuring a gloss black dial with applied silver indexes and silver baton hands, 14K WG fluted bezel, acrylic crystal. Powered by self winding calibre 1161 movement with sweep seconds. With original period Rolex stainless steel folded link Oyster bracelet with deployment clasp.
