Wanna Buy A Watch at the Oscars!

We had the pleasure this week of two of our watches being worn by Oscar winners at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony!
Last year, Oscars host Conan O’Brien bought a vintage gold Day-Date from us to wear during the show. Sadly, the watch was never visible on his wrist during the broadcast or in any of the red carpet or after-party photos. And that’s why you didn’t see a newsletter from us boasting—or whining—about this. If it’s not photo’d, it didn’t happen!
This year it was entirely different. We had the honor of Oscar winner Sam A. Davis, director of the film “The Singers,” winner for Best Live Action Short Film, wearing a fabulous medium-sized hammered finish case JLC from the ’70s.
Additionally, Sev Ohanian, producer of the mega-hit “Sinners,” nominated for 16 and winner of 4 Oscars, wore our 1970s white gold Rolex Cellini with integral bracelet.
