Vintage 1960’s Zodiac Seawolf, popular diver’s model often associated with the Vietnam War and the U.S. Navy Seals. This is an especially nice condition example, featuring a 35mm diameter case, gray bakelite elapsed time bezel, and original matte silver dial. With raised indexes, prominent 6, 9, and 12 triangular shaped indexes, and early shovel style luminous hands and original spade tipped sweep seconds.
The bakelite bezel is free of break or cracks commonly found on similar models of the era, the original dial is without spotting or deterioration, the hands and dials markers are free of corrosion commonly found in dive watches that took on water, and the luminous markers and hands are all fully intact and with a matching and pleasing beige shade.
Powered by self winding calibre 72B movement date, and sweep seconds. Recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and offered with our one year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. Shown on complementary grayish blue fine stitched leather strap, or your choice of sporty strap.
Note that the case has been left unpolished as acquired. The case back shows light scratches and marks from previous opening of case back.
Your purchase is one of our beautiful handmade Italian leather watch travel pouches, a $65 value!
