One of the most elusive and desirable vintage models from the era, featuring a 34 X 39mm case with prominent and oversized lobed lugs. Nicknamed the “Helm” for the pronounced and massive case features ressembling the steering wheel of a ship. Featuring a beautiful condition original silver dial with applied pink gold markers and thin pink hands and original “pearl’ minutes track.
The case is in stunning condition and retains its original never polished finish and is free of any nicks, dings, or personalized engraving. Powered by the manual wind calibre 458/38 movement with subsidiary seconds. Just serviced, left unpolished, and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping and operation.
A great looking and impressive high grade vintage dress model. Rare in yellow gold, but all the more remarkable in rose gold. Offered with your choice of fine leather or exotic skin strap. The production date and originality of this watch is supported by a letter from Vacheron confirming the production of this watch in 1952. A copy of this letter will be included with purchase.
